2020 M1 MacBook Pro Features

Apple’s first Apple M1 Chip, which is specifically designed for Mac, is included in the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro 2020. The Apple M1 combines the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and other components onto a single chip (SoC).

It boosts your tasks with the powerful 8-core CPU and graphics-intensive apps and games with the powerful 8-core GPU. With the 16-core Neural Engine, you can speed up machine learning processes. The MacBook Pro can undertake your work with ease, thanks to its active cooling system and up to 20 hours of video playback.

The Apple M1 incorporates the CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, I/O, and more into a single system on a chip with 16 billion transistors (SoC). The Apple M1 uses a 5nm process to give the performance you need without sacrificing power efficiency. The Apple M1 has four high-performance cores, each of which is designed to do a particular task, allowing multithreaded workloads to be run.

There are also four efficiency cores, which use a tenth of the power while still giving a speedy performance. This means the Apple M1 is up to 3.5 times faster than the previous generation while still providing up to 17 hours of wireless web surfing and 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The 13.3-inch Retina Display features a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a screen density of 227 pixels per inch, and a brightness of 500 nits. It also supports the P3 wide color gamut, resulting in more bright colors. This offers truly vivid details and true-to-life images, which are critical for graphic design, color grading, and editing. True Tone technology automatically adjusts the white balance to match the color temperature of the light around you, giving you a more natural viewing experience.

You can access the internet over Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and use Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to compatible wireless peripherals and accessories. The two Thunderbolt 3 ports enable connection to the Apple Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution and support USB4. For clear recordings and calls, Apple also integrated studio-quality microphones.

Apple’s latest camera ISP is also included in the M1 chip, allowing for crisper photos and more information in shadows and highlights during video conversations. With Secure Enclave in M1 and Touch ID, you can keep your MacBook Pro safe. The Touch Bar enables shortcuts, the backlit Magic Keyboard makes typing comfier, and the Force Touch trackpad supports accurate cursor control, pressure sensing, and Multi-Touch gestures.
