Apple TV has released the first trailer for 12 12 12, an upcoming heist thriller starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. The eight-episode series revolves around an elaborate bank robbery in Zurich, with a story that unfolds across three distinct timelines covering the planning, execution, and aftermath of the heist.

The series will premiere globally on Apple TV on Friday, November 13, 2026, with its first two episodes. New episodes will follow weekly through December 25.

‘12 12 12’ tells a heist story across three timelines

Created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, 12 12 12 follows a disgraced FBI agent played by Mackie and an American career criminal portrayed by Dornan. Their paths collide in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse across Europe, centered on an ambitious raid targeting a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich, Switzerland.

The show’s title reflects its unusual storytelling structure. Each episode unfolds across three timelines: the 12 months leading up to the robbery, the 12 hours during the heist itself, and the 12 days that follow. That format gives the series room to explore the planning behind the operation, the events unfolding as it happens, and the consequences that emerge afterward.

The newly released trailer offers a first look at the series’ tense, crime-driven premise, with Mackie and Dornan leading a story built around an intricate robbery and the competing interests surrounding it.

Alongside Mackie and Dornan, the ensemble cast includes Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia, and Kali Reis.

Both leading actors also serve as executive producers. Mackie executive produces through his Make It With Gravy production banner, alongside Samantha Corbin-Miller, David Knoller, and Jason Spire for Inspire Entertainment.

Kari Skogland, an Emmy Award-nominated and BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker, directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and also serves as an executive producer. Appleton and Keeble created the series and are executive producers as well.
