OnePlus has unveiled its latest experimental phone, the OnePlus 11 Concept, which boasts an innovative feature that resembles liquid cooling in gaming PCs. This technology, called “Active CryoFlux,” involves using a piezoelectric ceramic micropump to circulate cooling fluid throughout pipelines visible on the exterior of the phone. The system is designed to provide improved performance without significantly increasing the phone’s size and bulk.

According to OnePlus, the result of this liquid cooling technology is a slight but noticeable increase in performance. The company claims that the temperature drop caused by the system can improve gaming performance by up to three to four frames per second and reduce charging times by 30 to 45 seconds. While these improvements may not seem substantial, they may help users to maximize the full potential of an upgrade.

In terms of aesthetics, the OnePlus 11 Concept features a camera hump with intricate guilloché engraving, similar to those found on luxury watches. The most noticeable changes are the conspicuous pipelines and blue LED lighting, adding a futuristic touch to the phone’s design.

Although the OnePlus 11 Concept will not be entering production, it is likely that the liquid cooling and design techniques showcased in this experimental phone will make their way to future models. While the technology may not match the cooling power found in high-end gaming phones, it may make OnePlus devices more attractive to users who seek above-average performance without carrying a bulky device in their pocket.

The OnePlus 11 Concept’s liquid cooling technology represents a practical innovation that may be beneficial to users seeking improved performance. The phone’s unique design elements also add a touch of luxury to the device. While this experimental phone may not be available for purchase, the features it introduces may pave the way for exciting developments in future OnePlus devices.
