Apple officially confirmed its upcoming event which is set to be held on September 14, 2021, at 10 A.M. PDT (10:30 P.M. IST), for new iPhone 13 models and the new Apple Watch Series 7. The Apple September event with the tagline “California streaming” will be virtual due to COVID-19 pandemics and streams from Apple Park. You can watch this event via the Apple website, Apple’s YouTube channel, or via the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

What to Expect

iPhone 13 models

In this Apple September 14 event, we are expecting Apple to unveil its new iPhone 13 models including iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 mini (maybe like the previous event if Apple wants). The new iPhone 13 models might be coming with new features and camera improvements, and we seriously want Apple to launch iPhone 13 with a ProMotion 120Hz display.

And this time we also want Apple to work on its iPhone notch maybe Apple should have launched iPhone 13 with a smaller notch or maybe they should wipe out a notch from the iPhone just like we have seen in the recent Ted Lasso‘s Second Season episode called “The Signal” where the old lady is holding iPhone with no notch (maybe iPhone 13 concept or maybe Apple’s future iPhone concept).

The Bloomberg report suggests Apple’s iPhone 13 will support satellite connectivity features where they also suggest this feature will roll out to customers next year, but we are still waiting for Apple’s announcement. According to Bloomberg, the Satellite feature on iPhone 13 will allow users to send emergency text messages in emergency situations when users didn’t catch cellular networks.

Apple is rumored to be integrating emergency satellite messaging into its Messages app, allowing users to contact emergency services and close friends even when they don’t have access to a cell connection. According to Bloomberg, emergency messages would be shown as grey bubbles in addition to the regular iMessage blue and SMS green. Phone calls may also be supported in the future.

According to the research, connecting to a satellite would necessitate the user to be outside. A signal may take up to one minute to arrive. Satellite functions will be available in compliance with local restrictions in each region.

Apple Watch Series 7

We also expect Apple to introduce the new Apple Watch Series 7 alongside iPhone 13 models at September 14 event. According to rumors, Apple Watch Series 7 might be getting a new design with a larger display. However, some sources indicate that Apple will be having problems with production issues for Apple Watch Series 7, which could severely constrain supply.

According to Mark Gurman’s newsletter and rumors, Apple Watch Series 7 design will be getting iPhone 12 style design edges.

Third-generation AirPods

According to rumors, Apple is planning for new third-generation AirPods which could have to be announced at Apple’s September 14 event where rumors are saying the next AirPods will get a similar design to AirPods Pro but without replaceable eartips.

New software

And the interesting part about Apple September 14 event, we are getting official dates for a public and stable software update for Apple devices, including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15, whereas some rumors say macOS Monterey is coming later this fall.
