Samsung is set to unveil its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, with rumors suggesting a potential launch event on January 22. The new lineup, featuring the standard Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, is expected to include several exciting upgrades, notably a switch from Samsung’s Exynos chipset to Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is designed to enhance performance and energy efficiency.

Regarding pricing, leaks from reliable tipster Ronald Quandt reveal that the prices in Europe will remain consistent with those of the Galaxy S24 series. Specifically, the prices for the Galaxy S25 will be:

  • Galaxy S25 (128GB) at €899
  • Galaxy S25 (256GB) at €959
  • Galaxy S25+ (256GB) at €1,149
  • Galaxy S25+ (512GB) at €1,269
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB) at €1,449
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra (512GB) at €1,569
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra (1TB) at €1,809

This pricing strategy aligns with Samsung’s typical approach of offering incremental improvements at similar price points year-over-year. Although these details pertain to Europe, it’s worth noting that price increases could be seen in other regions, particularly in the U.S., where Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phones have typically carried higher price tags.

The S25 Ultra is also expected to sport a new design, with rounded corners and a square frame, moving away from the previous models’ sharper edges. Its display will likely be 6.86 inches, complemented by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. A major camera upgrade is rumored as well, with a potential jump to 50MP for the ultra-wide lens.
