Pusheen is getting her very own game, and honestly, the first thing you might notice about Pusheen’s Place isn’t the cozy rooms, the adorable mini-games, or even the promise of collecting more than 100 cats.

It’s Pusheen herself.

Apple announced Pusheen’s Place on September 8, with the cozy game set to arrive exclusively on Apple Arcade on October 1. Developed by Lively, it will be the first officially licensed game starring Pusheen the Cat, giving the internet’s favorite loaf-shaped feline a full game world of her own.

And yes, the game is exactly as cute as you would expect. Players can build their own Pusheen paradise, collect more than 100 adorable cats, craft items, decorate rooms, and spend time with familiar characters including Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen.

There are also mini-games such as Snack Stack, Parfait Pop, and Batch Match for when simply decorating a room with an absurdly large cartoon cat isn’t enough entertainment.

The whole thing is clearly designed as a cozy, low-stress hangout rather than some grand adventure. Apple is positioning Pusheen’s Place alongside other relaxing Apple Arcade games such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, and Cozy Caravan.

But Pusheen may have a secret advantage over all of them: sheer feline mass.

The screenshots make Pusheen look wonderfully chunky, with her round body and oversized presence taking up a surprisingly large amount of the screen. It gives the game an unintentionally hilarious visual quality. You’re not just decorating a cute little cat’s home. You’re apparently constructing an entire luxury property for a cat that looks like she has never once heard the words “portion control.”

That visual style also fits Pusheen perfectly. The character has always leaned into simple shapes, expressive reactions, and an unapologetically chubby silhouette. Turning that into a game where players can build rooms and collect different versions of her is a pretty natural extension of the character.

And there are plenty of versions to collect. Apple says Pusheen’s Place will feature more than 100 cats, meaning the collecting side of the game could become a substantial part of the experience. Players will also be able to decorate spaces around different characters and create their own cozy Pusheen-themed environment.

The game is arriving as part of a larger Apple Arcade refresh on October 1. Alongside Pusheen’s Place, Apple is adding River City Survivors, while Terraria+, Touchgrind BMX 2+, and 4 Pics 1 Word+ are also joining the service.

That gives Apple Arcade a fairly broad October lineup, ranging from Pusheen’s aggressively cozy cat paradise to River City Survivors‘ zombie-blasting action. Terraria+ is also getting the Bigger & Boulder 1.4.5 update, including a Dead Cells crossover and Palworld content, while Touchgrind BMX 2+ and 4 Pics 1 Word+ bring their existing App Store experiences to the subscription service.

Pusheen’s Place, though, is probably the most distinctive of the bunch. It isn’t simply an existing mobile game being added to Arcade. It’s Pusheen’s first officially licensed starring role in a game, and Apple is making it an Apple Arcade exclusive from day one.

Apple Arcade currently costs $6.99 per month in the U.S., with a one-month free trial. The service is also included with Apple One‘s Individual, Family, and Premier plans, and an Apple Arcade subscription can be shared with up to six family members.

So, starting October 1, you can build a cozy home, collect more than 100 cats, play tiny snack-based games, decorate rooms, and generally live your best Pusheen life.

Just don’t be surprised if the biggest thing in the room is Pusheen herself.
