You’ve probably marked your calendars for next month’s Galaxy Unpacked, where the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 will make their grand entrance. Yet if you think Samsung’s only game this year is folding phones, think again. Right on the heels of those leaks, the company’s next Fan Edition flagship—the Galaxy S25 FE—has quietly surfaced in CAD-based renders, thanks to a collaboration between SammyGuru and renowned tipster OnLeaks.

On first glance, the S25 FE could easily be mistaken for last year’s S24 FE: a punch-hole display up front, a metal chassis with flat edges, and a vertical triple-camera array on the back. But if you look closer, you’ll spot the refinements. The right edge still hosts the power and volume buttons, while the bottom bezel houses a USB-C port flanked by the SIM tray and speaker grille—and yes, there’s a second mic up top, too.

Here’s where things get interesting: Samsung has shaved down the footprint. The S25 FE measures in at 161.4 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm, edging out the S24 FE’s 162 × 77.3 × 8 mm dimensions with a slimmer frame and tighter bezels. Despite being ever so slightly shorter, it still packs a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a buttery 120Hz refresh rate—and industry whispers peg its peak brightness at an eye-searing 2,600 nits, though we’ll want to see official word on that.

Performance-wise, Samsung seems to be hedging its bets. The S25 FE is rumored to ship with either the in-house Exynos 2400 or MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and your choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage. Out of the box, you’ll be greeted by Android 16 wrapped in One UI 8, along with Samsung’s now-standard promise of seven years of OS and security updates.

Photography fans will recognize the numbers: a 50MP primary sensor with OIS remains the centerpiece, backed by a 12MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3× optical zoom. On the front, Samsung is expected to bump up the selfie cam to a 12MP sensor, finally matching its flagship S25 siblings.

The slimmer profile is undeniably sleek, but it raises the perennial FE question: has Samsung sacrificed battery capacity to hit these svelte dimensions? Historically, the FE lineup has danced around Si/C battery tech, so here’s hoping the company managed to keep juice on par with—or better than—the S24 FE’s 4,500 mAh pack.

Samsung hasn’t RSVP’d with an official launch date, though leaks point to a September–October 2025 debut, possibly alongside a “Flip 7 FE” variant. Pricing is anyone’s guess, but if history is our guide, expect a tag roughly $100–150 below the S25, putting it squarely in the mid–high four-figure range.

With foldables grabbing the headlines, the FE series quietly fills the sweet spot for users seeking flagship-lite experiences—modern design, solid performance, and a friendlier price tag. If Samsung nails the balance between sleekness, battery life, and pricing, the S25 FE could be the dark horse of its lineup.
