In the 6th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards program, market intelligence organization IoT Breakthrough recognized the KORE Developer Portal with the “M2M Innovation of the Year” award.

The portal provides secure, managed access to services in the KORE ecosystem by offering access to all of KORE’s platform APIs in a single self-service place.

Users can access defined APIs with examples in many languages, live testing, self-service options like IP whitelisting for increased security, the ability to stay up to date on all API updates, and more through the portal.

Portal users can also invite other clients or developers to work on projects with them. APIs can be downloaded and tested via the portal. The API endpoints deliver statistics about subscriptions, usage, and more based on standards and principles. Tutorials for getting started with Postman, connectivity rules engine APIs, and streaming APIs are also available.

The awards program’s objective is to honor the world’s best inventors, leaders, and visionaries in a variety of IoT categories, including industrial and enterprise IoT, smart city technology, connected home and home automation, and linked autos. More than 3850 nominations from companies all over the world were received for this year’s program.

“IoT application development is driving a new area of the market and, while IoT integration is all about APIs, the reality is that developing interfaces to integrate applications can be incredibly complex,” said James Johnson, managing director at IoT Breakthrough. “Developers need effective IoT interfaces and KORE is developing a breakthrough that is designed to make scaling IoT applications simple and effective.”

KORE provides a comprehensive set of services based on decades of experience and designed to make connectivity planning, deployment, and management a simple and efficient process.

“What an honor it is to be recognised by IoT Breakthrough,” said KORE CEO Romil Bahl. “We have spent nearly two decades leveraging our IoT knowledge and experience with the aim of simplifying the complexity of IoT with complete, global IoT management capabilities. KORE enables customers to realise their IoT vision with seamless execution and a constant focus on maximising the return on IoT investments.”
