ASUS and ROG laptops now include 3 months of Google AI Pro for free

The promotion covers 2025, 2026, and some 2027 laptops, with redemption handled directly inside the MyASUS app.

If you just bought (or are about to buy) an ASUS or ROG laptop, there’s a nice little bonus waiting for you that you might not know about yet. ASUS has teamed up with Google to give owners of select laptops free access to Google’s premium AI subscription for three months, no extra dime required.

Starting August 10, 2026, ASUS is running a program that hands eligible customers either Google AI Pro or Google AI Plus for three months, completely free. If you’re not familiar with these tiers, think of them as Google‘s answer to ChatGPT Plus or Pro – subscription plans that unlock the company’s best AI models and tools instead of the free, rate-limited versions most people use.

The Pro plan is the bigger deal of the two. It gives you expanded access to Google’s most capable Gemini models, higher usage limits across its AI tools, and a genuinely massive 5TB of cloud storage tossed in for good measure. The Plus plan is more of an entry-level sweetener – still useful, with better model performance and creative tools than the free tier, plus 400GB of storage. Which one you get depends on which laptop you bought and where you live, since ASUS has been clear that eligibility varies by region and specific model.

It’s easy to shrug off promotional bundles like this, but the actual toolset behind this offer is pretty stacked. Depending on your plan, you get access to the Gemini app, Deep Research (Google’s tool for turning a vague question into an actual structured report), Google Flow, Gemini Omni, the Nano Banana 2 image model, the Lyria 3 music generator, and Gemini baked directly into everyday Google apps like Docs and Gmail. If you land on the Pro tier, there’s also a path to developer-focused and agentic tools like Google Antigravity, Jules, and AI Studio.

That’s a genuinely wide net – creative generation, research, productivity, and even some coding-adjacent tooling, all under one subscription. For someone who just spent money on new hardware, getting a taste of this ecosystem for free is a smart way to get hooked before the trial runs out.

Which laptops actually qualify

This isn’t limited to ASUS’s flagship gaming rigs. The program spans a genuinely broad slice of the lineup – ROG, TUF Gaming, ProArt, Zenbook, and Vivobook models are all in the mix, covering laptops from 2025, 2026, and even some upcoming 2027 releases. Redemption happens through the MyASUS app, which is already preinstalled on these machines, so there’s no hunting for a separate portal or typing in some clunky activation code from a sticker.

The whole program is set to run for a full year, from August 10, 2026 through August 9, 2027, across supported markets. If you want to check whether your specific model makes the cut, ASUS has published a complete eligibility list on its website rather than burying it in fine print.

The fine print worth knowing

As with most bundled subscription offers, there are caveats. ASUS notes that regional availability, age and account eligibility, supported languages, model access, and usage limits can all vary depending on which Google plan you land on, and these details can change over time. Some Google AI features are also gated to specific countries or are still rolling out gradually, so what your friend gets in another region might look a little different from what shows up on your screen.

Practically speaking, this move fits into a broader pattern in the PC industry right now – AI has become as much a selling point for laptops as processor speed or battery life used to be. Google bundling its premium AI stack directly through OEM partners like ASUS is basically the same playbook Microsoft has run with Copilot Pro credits and similar promotions, aimed at getting more everyday users comfortable paying for AI tools once the free trial period runs out.

If you’ve got an eligible machine sitting on your desk right now, it’s worth popping open MyASUS and checking your redemption status before the offer window closes – three months of a 5TB storage plan and top-tier Gemini access isn’t something you want to leave on the table.
