As technology continues to evolve, the use of computers has become an integral part of our daily lives. Whether it’s for work, school, or leisure, we all rely on computers to carry out various tasks. While computers have certainly made our lives easier, there are many hidden hacks and tricks that can make your computing experience even more enjoyable and efficient. In this article, we’ll take a look at five tips that will help you maximize your computer’s potential.

Make Use of Airplane Mode

Let’s say that you are looking to charge your laptop within 15 or 20 minutes. Is that possible? Unless your laptop supports a fast charger or comes with a special battery that charges up to 100% by the time you are done making your morning coffee, you should not expect much. But there is a catch. When you put your laptop in airplane mode, it charges up very fast. There is always a time window when you can do without your laptop. Use it to put it on airplane mode and charge your laptop to 99% (recommended). You are set for the day.

Download Google Images Super Fast

How is that possible? Seems like something very absurd but it is absolutely true. It is very easy to download a Google image just by pushing the alt key and left-clicking on the image. It will get automatically saved onto your computer in your downloads folder. If you are using a Mac system, you just have to press the control key and then left-click on the image. You will enter a drop-down menu where you can select the copy image option.

Perform Daily Tasks Quickly

Whether you have a Windows PC or a macOS, you can use voice commands to carry out various tasks. On Windows, simply press the Windows key and type the letter C to start talking to Cortana. On a macOS, press the command key and the spacebar to start talking to Siri. This is a great way to perform daily tasks quickly and efficiently.

Share Your Screens Across Devices

Connecting Mac computers with different brands of smart devices are rather quick and easy. You can connect your smart devices with your Macbook using the inbuilt mirroring app. Just click: https://setapp.com/how-to/all-the-ways-to-screen-share-on-mac to understand it better. It is very easy to establish this connection either using an HDMI cable or the AirPlay feature as well, whether it is Samsung, Toshiba, or any other brand.

Hiding Your IP Address (Shhh…)

If you are looking for more security on the internet, you can always hide your IP address. There are numerous VPN software platforms available in the market that are compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. You can use them to access websites that are normally not working or prohibited in your area. No more wasting time on finding alternative websites!

Verdict

There is so much that you can do with your computer to make your computing experience more enjoyable and efficient. From using airplane mode to quickly charge your laptop to hiding your IP address for added security, the possibilities are endless. It’s just a matter of being aware of the tools and features that are available to you and putting them to good use.
