The Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription is being renamed PC Game Pass by Microsoft. The new name does away with the Xbox branding in favor of a more straightforward PC Game Pass name, which should make things easier for PC users.

Microsoft recently offered Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships, all of which could be confused for Xbox-only services. The name of the PC subscription is changing, but the Xbox logo will remain in the logo.
