Apple has once again left the tech world in awe with its latest offerings showcased during the Wonderlust event. Among these highly anticipated releases were the iPhone 15 featuring a game-changing USB-C port, and the all-new Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2. With the Series 9 starting at $399 and the Watch Ultra 2 at $799, these wearables are set to hit the market on September 22nd, 2023.

What sets the Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 apart is their shared foundation. Both run on the impressive watchOS 10 and are powered by the Apple S9 SiP (System in Package). These watches leverage the same A15 chip that made its debut with the iPhone 13, promising better performance and longer battery life. And guess what? You can now enjoy Siri processing right on your wrist, thanks to this powerful chip.

Apple has introduced the “double-tap” feature, set to arrive next month. It’s a neat twist on the existing AssistiveTouch, allowing you to answer calls, set timers, play music, and more—all with a simple tap of your thumb and index finger.

Preorder Apple Watch Series 9

The Series 9 builds upon its predecessors with several noteworthy upgrades. First off, the new processor ensures smoother performance and faster Siri responses. Plus, the addition of an ultra-wideband chip takes tracking accuracy to the next level. And if you’re all about style, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a fresh pink color option joining the existing starlight, silver, midnight, and (PRODUCT)RED models.

If you’re looking for the GPS-equipped aluminum model, it’s available in two sizes—41mm for $399 and 45mm for $429. You can preorder them now through Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, and they’ll be officially released on September 22nd. And for those who want LTE connectivity, the 41mm and 45mm LTE models are priced at $499 and $529 respectively and are also available for preorder.

  • Apple Watch Series 9 (GPS + Cellular) — Apple / Amazon / Best Buy / Walmart (41mm) / Walmart (45mm) / Target

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts. With its rugged 49mm size and a dazzling 3,000-nit display (the brightest in Apple’s lineup), it’s built to withstand the toughest conditions. Like the Series 9, it also sports the S9 SiP and second-gen ultra-wideband chip for precise tracking.

One of the standout features of the Ultra 2 is its impressive battery life. In low-power mode, it can last up to an incredible 72 hours! Plus, it comes with cellular connectivity built-in, so you don’t need to rely on your smartphone.

Starting September 12th, you can preorder your Apple Watch Ultra 2 for $799. And the best part? You have a choice of bands—Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, or Ocean Band—to match your style. The official release date is September 22nd, and you can secure your preorder at Apple, Amazon, Adorama, Target, and Best Buy.
