Vimeo, the platform you probably know for its slick videos and easy sharing, is now diving headfirst into the future of video. They’ve just launched a new app for Apple‘s Vision Pro, which means you can now watch, create, and share videos in a whole new dimension – spatial video.

Imagine videos that aren’t just flat on a screen, but pop out and surround you. It’s like being right there in the action. Pretty cool, huh?

Vimeo’s CEO, Philip Moyer, is stoked about this new development. He thinks spatial video is the next big thing in storytelling. And with Vimeo’s new app, you can be a part of it.

You can even capture your own spatial videos using your iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max. And later this year, you’ll be able to edit these videos on your Mac with a new update to Final Cut Pro.

On the left, under the heading “Today,” a generic email draft to “Alex Liu” uses formal, template-style language with placeholder text.
