Apple Launches New 24-inch iMac with M1 Processor and All-New Design with Choice of Different Colors

During Apple’s “Spring Loaded” online event Apple unveiled the new 24-inch iMac with a powerful M1 processor with an all-new compact design with just 11.5mm thin and comes with a variety of colors including green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver, and a new magnetic power connector for powering the new 24-inch iMac. The new 24-inch iMac has a 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels and support P3 wide color gamut, 500 nits of brightness, and billion of colors for a better viewing experience.

The new 24-inch iMac finally gets a taste of a powerful Apple Silicon M1 processor for breakthrough performance with better control over hardware and software. Compare to the previous generation of iMac, the M1-based new 24-inch iMac has a very small logic board by combining components like CPU, GPU, RAM, and other components directly integrated into the M1 processor. Also, the new 24-inch iMac gets a new thermal solution by replacing it with two small additional fans instead of the large one for a very cool experience and very quiet.

The new 24-inch iMac featuring a 4.5K Retinal display with 11.3 million pixels and narrow borders compared to the old iMac models with their gigantic borders, and the True Tone display technology automatically adjusts the color temperature as the environment changes for a more natural viewing experience.

Customers also have the ability to choose Magic Keyboard from three different models with gorgeous aluminum enclosure for color match to iMac. Also, Apple added Touch ID to iMac which directly implemented on Magic Keyboard and Numeric Keypad for end-to-end encryption, and Touch ID on Magic Keyboard works with fast user switching.

The new 24-inch iMac comes with two Thunderbolt/USB4 ports for faster data transferring, support for up to 6K display, as well as connecting additional devices like adapters, external hard disk, etc. Additionally, 8-core iMac can configure with two extra USB-C ports and features a 1Gbps Ethernet port in the power adapter which allows running iMac over Ethernet power.

The new 24-inch iMac price will start at $1,299 (Rs. 1,19,900) & $1,249 for education with a 7-core GPU along with an 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, two Thunderbolt ports, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Mouse.

24-inch iMac will be starting at $1,499 (Rs. 1,39,900) & $1,399 for education with 8-core GPU, 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, two Thunderbolt ports, two additional USB 3 ports, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Magic Mouse, and Gigabit Ethernet. On the other hand, 512GB of SSD model will be starting at $1,699 (Rs. 1,59,900) with the same specs of 8-core GPU, and 8-core CPU model.
