Apple adds seasonal colors to iPhone 17 cases, Watch bands, and Crossbody Strap

Apple is rolling out a fresh batch of spring colors for iPhone 17 cases, Apple Watch bands, and its Crossbody Strap, led by the new Bright Guava shade.

Apple’s kicking off spring 2026 with something very on-brand: not a radical new product, but a wardrobe refresh for the stuff you actually see and touch every day — iPhone cases, Apple Watch bands, and that somewhat polarising Crossbody Strap. Think of it as a seasonal drop for your tech, with names that sound more like gelato flavours than accessories: Bright Guava, Vanilla, Electric Lavender, Soft Pink, Blue Mist, and Cantaloupe.

At the centre of this refresh is the iPhone 17 lineup, which now leans harder into color as a personality statement. Apple’s Silicone Case for the standard iPhone 17 picks up three new shades: Bright Guava, Vanilla, and Electric Lavender, all with MagSafe and the usual soft‑touch, grippy finish. The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max get Bright Guava and Vanilla too, but Apple keeps Electric Lavender as a non‑Pro exclusive — a subtle way of making the regular model feel more fun, while the Pro line stays a bit more muted.

The new iPhone 17e slots neatly into that same story. Alongside the phone itself, Apple is selling a Silicone Case with MagSafe in a wider palette: black, Anchor Blue, Light Moss, Vanilla, Bright Guava, and Soft Pink. That gives the “entry” iPhone a surprisingly premium‑feeling accessory lineup, especially when you factor in the MagSafe Clear Case for those who want protection but still want the phone’s own color to show through. If you want something with a bit more attitude, Apple’s Beats brand is also in the mix with a hard‑plastic MagSafe case for iPhone 17e in Bedrock Blue and Lime Stone, positioned as a slightly edgier, youth‑oriented alternative to the main Apple case.

On the watch side, Apple is doing what it does almost every season: treating bands like fashion drops. The classic Sport Band now comes in Bright Guava, Clementine, and Soft Pink, still built from the same fluoroelastomer that’s designed to handle workouts, sweat, and everyday wear. If you prefer something lighter and more breathable, the Sport Loop gains three fresh colourways of its own: Bright Guava, Blue Mist, and Cantaloupe, each mixing contrasting thread accents for a slightly more textile, streetwear‑ish look on the wrist. Interestingly, Apple has left the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop untouched this round, while the high‑end Hermès bands continue to evolve separately with new seasonal designs and colour combinations.

Then there’s the Crossbody Strap — arguably the most divisive accessory in the lineup, but also the one that most clearly shows where Apple thinks phones are headed as fashion items. The strap now comes in Bright Guava and Soft Pink, and it’s designed to attach to select Apple cases so you can literally wear your iPhone like a small bag. Apple pitches it as a hands‑free, light and adjustable way to carry your phone, clearly eyeing the same “phone as part of the outfit” trend you see on Instagram and in street fashion. Critics will immediately call out the theft risk of visibly hanging your iPhone at your side, but for people at festivals, events, or just those who hate pockets, it’s a very intentional lifestyle accessory.

What ties all of this together is Apple’s now‑well‑established cadence of using colour as a low‑friction way to make old hardware feel fresh. These drops don’t change performance, battery life, or camera quality, but they do give existing users a relatively affordable way to “refresh” their setup without buying a new device. At around the usual Apple price points — roughly $49 for most silicone iPhone and Apple Watch bands, and $59 for the Crossbody Strap in markets like the U.S. — they sit in that sweet spot of being premium impulse buys rather than big‑ticket decisions.

For Apple, this is smart business: it keeps the accessory ecosystem feeling alive between major hardware launches, nudges people a little deeper into the brand’s aesthetic, and quietly reinforces MagSafe and Apple Watch as platforms with long accessory life. For users, it’s simple: if your iPhone 17 or Apple Watch is starting to feel a bit boring, you don’t have to wait for an iOS update or a new device cycle — you can just swap in Bright Guava, Soft Pink, or Electric Lavender and it instantly looks like something new.
