Perplexity has introduced its new Deep Research tool, designed to deliver in-depth analysis and detailed reports on a range of topics—from finance and marketing to product research. In about 2-4 minutes, the tool conducts multiple searches, reviews hundreds of sources, and compiles a comprehensive answer that can be shared or exported as a PDF.

Currently available on the web, the tool will soon roll out on iOS, Android, and Mac platforms. Free users are capped at five queries per day, while Pro subscribers can access up to 500 queries daily. This launch marks Perplexity’s entry into a competitive field, joining industry leaders like OpenAI and Google in advancing AI-powered research capabilities.
