Toyota is bringing back the C-HR to the U.S. market in 2026, this time as a fully electric compact SUV. The 2026 C-HR EV features a 74.7 kWh battery, delivering an estimated range of up to 290 miles. Equipped with dual electric motors, it offers all-wheel drive and produces 338 horsepower, enabling a 0-60 mph acceleration in approximately five seconds.

The vehicle supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. It also includes a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, granting access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, and features Plug and Charge capability for streamlined charging sessions.

Inside, the C-HR EV offers a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, dual wireless charging pads, and up to 25.4 cubic feet of cargo space. It also provides four levels of regenerative braking, controlled via paddle shifters.

While pricing details have not been officially announced, estimates suggest a starting price in the mid-$30,000 range, positioning it competitively within the electric SUV market.
