Samsung has joined the growing market for Copilot Plus PCs with the introduction of the Galaxy Book4 Edge series. These new laptops offer a compelling blend of performance, portability, and integrated features for users seeking a seamless mobile-to-desktop experience.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge series caters to a variety of user preferences with three distinct models. The 14-inch variant provides a balance of portability and performance, making it ideal for business professionals and mobile users. For those who prioritize a larger screen real estate, two 16-inch configurations offer an expansive view for creative tasks and immersive entertainment.

The starting price of $1,349.99 (introductory offer, otherwise normally $1,729.98) for the 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge positions it competitively within the Copilot Plus PC market. This base model boasts a powerful 12-core 3.4GHz Snapdragon X Elite processor with impressive boosting capabilities of up to 4.0GHz Dual Core Boost. Multitasking is further enhanced by 16GB of RAM, while storage options cater to diverse needs, ranging from 512GB to 1TB.

A key highlight is the stunning 14-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2880 x 1800. This display delivers exceptional image clarity and vibrancy with HDR support, VRR technology, and 120% P3 color gamut coverage. Connectivity options include two USB 4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a combo audio jack, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. Weighing in at a mere 2.6 pounds, the 14-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge prioritizes portability for users who value mobility.

The 16-inch models offer similar specifications, with the top-tier variant featuring the Snapdragon X Elite processor with an enhanced boost clock of 4.2GHz and 1TB of storage for $1,749.99 (introductory offer, otherwise normally $2,129.98). The more budget-conscious option features the standard processor with 512GB of storage, priced at $1,449.99 (introductory offer, otherwise normally $1,829.98). Both 16-inch models mirror the display quality of their smaller siblings, providing an immersive viewing experience on a larger canvas. Connectivity expands to include a USB 3.2 Type-A port and a microSD card slot for additional flexibility. The trade-off for the larger screen size is a weight of 3.4 pounds.

While all three models meet the minimum RAM requirement of 16GB for Copilot Plus PCs, some power users might find this capacity limiting for highly demanding applications. However, Samsung mitigates this concern by integrating their Knox secure enclave technology, safeguarding user data with top-tier security protocols. Additionally, the Galaxy Book4 Edge series boasts a suite of features designed for seamless data sharing and integration with Samsung Galaxy smartphones, fostering a unified user experience within the Samsung ecosystem.

Pre-orders for all Galaxy Book4 Edge models commenced on May 20th. To incentivize early adopters, Samsung is offering a compelling pre-order bonus: a free 50-inch Samsung TV valued at $379. This budget-friendly television adds significant value to the purchase of a Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop. However, this limited-time offer is only valid while supplies last, so potential buyers are encouraged to act swiftly to secure this bundled package.
