Realme will soon launch the Realme Book Slim laptop with 2K display in India

From the Flipkart.com and Realme’s India page, we have seen the teaser page of Realme’s upcoming first-ever laptop in India called Realme Book Slim with a 2K (2160 x 1440p) Full Vision display with 90% screen-to-body ratio and 100% of sRGB coverage and the laptop will be set to launch on August 18, 2021. (Now available, see the pricing at the article ending)

The teaser page shows a blue, silver, or matte black color finish and a super slim and light premium metallic design with just 14.9mm of thickness for Realme Book Slim. We also see the USB Type-A port and headphone or microphone combo jack on the right side and 2x USB Type-C ports on the left side for seamless connectivity for modern devices.

We also see the biometric fingerprint sensor for security which is embedded in the power button from the teaser trailer. Talking about Realme Book Slim specification, they might be launched with 11th Gen Intel Core i3 and i5 processors and SSD options for storage and multiple RAM options.

We are expecting the price of the Realme Book Slim laptop will around 45K to 49K for the i5 based model, and the laptop will run on Windows 10 out of the box and will be upgradable to upcoming Windows 11. Windows 11 is currently in the beta phase and will be rolling out its stable version this fall to everyone.

(Update): The Realme Book Slim laptop is now available in India via the Realme website or Flipkart.com at the pricing of ₹ 44,999 for 11th Gen Intel Core i3 with 8GB dual-channel LPDDR4X memory, 256GB of SSD storage & ₹ 56,999 for 11th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB dual-channel LPDDR4X memory, 512GB of SSD storage and features Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It has Real Grey & Real Blue color options and up to 11 hours of battery life, depending on your usage.

Realme Book Slim also comes with a 65W fast charger that gets you to a 50% charge in just 30 minutes. It also supports up to 30W Dart flash charging for Realme smartphones with a USB-C port, so you can keep your mobile devices powered while you’re on the go.

Realme Book Slim supports PC Connect which is only supported for Realme GT Master Edition temporarily, whereas the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition and Realme GT will soon support PC connect via an OTA update. The company also said that more Realme smartphones will support this function in the future.

PC Connect allows you to seamlessly connect your devices, so you can access the files of smartphones instantly and drag and drop them between different screens with ease.

Realme Book Slim has a Dual-Fan Storm cooling system that features dual 8mm-diameter heat pipes, dual ultra-thin, high-speed, and high-airflow fans, and an efficient wing-shaped design to maximize the entire machine’s cooling capacity, enabling breakneck performance. The advanced cooling system uses technologies that deliver high energy while staying quiet, keeping your laptop as calm as it is cool.

It is packed with a dual HARMAN high-resolution audio speaker system that reproduces accurate stereo sound to bring you a more immersive audio experience. DTS Stereo Surround Sound enables you to fully enjoy the dramatic all-around cinema-like sound without distortion. Music, movies, and games all become highly immersive audio experiences.

An 8GB dual-channel LPDDR4x memory allows for seamless multitasking. The 512GB Sprint PCIe SSD provides enough space to manage and transfer files with greater speed and efficiency. Even large files can download in an instant, and games run more smoothly than ever.
