The Surface Laptop Studio is excellent for power users. Because of its unique hinge, you get a 2-in-1 laptop and a tablet, allowing you to take notes or draw. The only disadvantage is its weight: at 4 pounds, it’s too heavy to carry around all day.

Microsoft Surface Go 3 (Save up to $118)

Even though it’s a year old and lacks the all-day battery life, the Surface Go 3 is a solid 2-in-1 for students. It is less expensive than other Surface devices. It also includes support for Microsoft’s Surface Pen (Save $10) and Type Cover keyboard (Save $58) (both sold separately), making it a good option for taking notes and doing schoolwork.
