During Best Buy’s Early Black Friday, we saw incredible discounts on the Xbox Series S Holiday Edition, which is now available for $250 instead of $300, saving you a total of $50 for a limited time (same discount on Microsoft Store too). On Amazon, it will be available for $277, which may change during the deal. With the holiday season coming up, the Xbox Series S is sure to be a popular gift this year, especially at this limited-time price.
We wouldn’t be surprised if the Xbox Series S sells out in the coming weeks, so if you want to put one under the tree, you should do so as soon as possible.

For those who are confused with Microsoft‘s latest consoles, the Xbox Series S is a smaller, digital-only version of the Xbox Series X. The Series S supports many of the same next-generation features as the Series X, including Quick Resume, Raytracing, 120FPS gameplay, and Smart Delivery.
The main differences are that the Xbox Series S lacks a disc drive and can only play digital copies of games downloaded from the Microsoft Store app, and it only supports 1440p QHD games rather than native 4K—though the device can upscale to 4K if you play with a UHD TV. The Series S also has a smaller 512GB internal SSD for storage than the Series X, but expandable storage is available (available through Best Buy).
