Well, the Apple trade-in program might help you there, with the Apple trade-in program you can get some money as credit value for your old phone by getting a new iPhone. In simple words, you can call the Apple trade-in program a buyback program.
How Apple trade-in program is work?
When you buy a new Apple phone, the Apple trade-in program is rather simple. If you have a new iPhone, it will ask if you have an existing iPhone. For example, if you have an iPhone 11 and you want to upgrade to the new iPhone 13 Pro, it will ask you what kind of device you have. If you put in iPhone 11, it will ask you how many gigabytes it has, whether it’s the 128GB or 256GB model (currently Apple didn’t ask for storage of your old phone), and it will also ask you what kind of condition it is in.
If you choose iPhone 11 for trade-in then Apple will give you $340 in trade-in value right now (from the current trade-in value given in the below table).
Apart from getting some money back on your old phone, the Apple trade-in program has a few other benefits. Apple can recycle the material, so you won’t have to worry about having an old phone in your home. As a result, there are numerous benefits for both you and Apple when it comes to the prices that they offer you on a new phone.
However, before you trade in your old phone, there are a few things you should know about getting a trade-in value for your old phone. Before you prepare your old phone for trade-in or purchasing a new phone, you must backup your old phone data to somewhere else (we have added some of the steps for backup your old device), so you can load up your old phone’s profile with all of the apps and content like photos, videos and any other kinds of stuff in your new phone.
Transfer data from old iPhone to new iPhone via iCloud Backup
If your old phone is an iPhone, go to the iPhone Settings, click on Apple ID iCloud Media & Purchases, scroll down to iCloud, and click iCloud Backup, if your iCloud Backup is turned off then please turn it on and tap on Back Up Now button to begin backing up everything on your phone to your iCloud account, just make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi network.

Once you back up everything from your old iPhone to iCloud, just make sure you have erased your old iPhone from Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This step is necessary for you because you don’t wanna let access to your mobile content like messages, photos, or any other stuff.

When you first switch on your new iPhone, it will display the “Hello” screen, which will guide you through the process of setting up your new iPhone. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions until you are connected to the Wi-Fi network. Then again follow the simple steps until you reach the Apps & Data screen after successfully joining the Wi-Fi network. Choose the first option, “Restore from iCloud Backup,” once you’re on the Apps & Data screen.

Now Enter your Apple ID and password to activate iCloud. Then select Backup, and if your new iPhone requires a software update, follow these Apple official instructions. Now, wait until the restoration process has been completed after that you can complete the rest of the process on your own.
After the all process is done and you are now on a new iPhone home screen, just let your new iPhone stay connected with the Wi-Fi network for a while so it can download necessary things to your new iPhone from the old phone like apps, photos, and music as well as contact syncing.
If you are looking for an iPhone to iPhone migration process or don’t want to use iCloud for iPhone backup, then follow these Apple official instructions for the direct transfer method.

Transfer data from Android to iPhone
If you are an Android user and want to move to iPhone, use Apple’s official Move to iOS app for transferring all of your data including Contacts, Message history, Camera photos and videos, Web bookmarks, Mail accounts, and Calendars. Just make sure your old Android phone has at least Android 4.0 or a later version installed.
