Apple is making it easier than ever for football fans to stay up-to-date with their favorite teams. The company has announced a series of new features for its Sports app that will enhance the viewing experience for both NFL and college football enthusiasts.

One of the most exciting additions is the introduction of Live Activities support for all teams and leagues. This means that users can now quickly glance at scores and play-by-play information directly from their iPhone or Apple Watch lock screens. This is a significant improvement over previous versions of the app, which required users to open the app to access real-time data.

In addition to North American football, Apple Sports is expanding its coverage to include the UEFA Champions League and Europa League starting next month. This will be a welcome addition for fans of European soccer who are already using the Apple Sports app for other sports.

For those who are passionate about pro and college football in the United States, Apple has introduced a new dynamic drive tracker visual. This feature will display the ball’s current position on the field, providing a more immersive and engaging viewing experience.

Looking ahead, Apple has plans to further enhance the Sports app with a new drop-down navigation menu and an improved search feature. The drop-down menu will make it easier for users to switch between different scorecard views, while the improved search will help fans find matches for leagues they are not following.
