In the latest installment of “What’s Zuck Up To Now?” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has swapped VR headsets for an acoustic guitar to drop an unexpected—and honestly, baffling—collaboration with T-Pain. Together, they’ve reimagined Lil Jon’s raunchy 2002 hit “Get Low” as a tender acoustic ballad under the moniker Z-Pain. Yes, you read that right.

The inspiration? Zuckerberg’s enduring love story with his wife, Priscilla Chan. “Get Low” played during their first meeting at a college party, and for this year’s anniversary, Zuck took things to the next level by producing a heartfelt rendition of the crunk classic. He even got T-Pain on board to lend some vocal legitimacy to the project. The billionaire’s Instagram showcased behind-the-scenes snaps of the recording, alongside nostalgic photos of the couple.

  • Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are sitting closely together on a couch. Mark Zuckerberg is wearing a light-colored shirt and jeans, while his Priscilla Chan is wearing a dark-colored top and jeans. They are holding hands, and Mark Zuckerberg's arm is around the other's shoulder. The background includes a window and a light-colored wall.
  • Some words from book
  • Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain are seated in a recording studio. T-Pain on the left is wearing a black hoodie with a geometric design and is gesturing with their hands. Mark Zuckerberg on the right is playing an acoustic guitar. Between them is a small table with water bottles, disposable cups, and other small items. The background features soundproofing panels and a patterned red carpet on the floor.
  • Mark Zuckerberg is standing in a recording studio, facing away from the camera. He is wearing headphones and is positioned in front of a microphone suspended from a boom arm. The background shows a soundproof glass window with a view into another room, which has wooden paneling and various recording equipment. The scene is dimly lit, creating a focused and professional atmosphere.
  • Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain are in a recording studio. T-Pain is seated, playing an acoustic guitar, while the Mark Zuckerberg stands nearby, holding another acoustic guitar and pointing at the seated T-Pain's guitar. Both are wearing headphones, and there are microphones and water bottles on a small table in the background. The setting appears to be a collaborative music session.
  • Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain are standing in front of a red curtain. T-Pain on the left is wearing a black hoodie and a black cap, making a peace sign with their left hand. Mark Zuckerberg on the right is wearing a black t-shirt, a necklace with a triangular pendant, and a watch on their left wrist.
  • Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain are riding bicycles in an outdoor setting. Both bicycles have front baskets. T-Pain on the left is wearing a green outfit and a cap, while the Mark Zuckerberg on the right is dressed in a black t-shirt and dark pants. They are positioned on a paved area with a grassy field and trees in the background.
  • The image features Mark Zuckerberg and T-Pain standing back-to-back, each holding an acoustic guitar. The background shows a large, detailed image of the moon, giving the scene a cosmic feel. At the bottom of the image, the text "Z★PAIN" is prominently displayed in bold, black letters for album cover. In the top right corner, there is a "Parental Advisory Explicit Content" label.

But the internet isn’t sure what to make of this pivot. Is this peak billionaire whimsy? A next-level love declaration? Or just a PR move to humanize the Meta mogul? Reactions range from amused disbelief to outright cringe. T-Pain, ever the fun-loving creative, brushed off the skepticism, declaring that life’s too short not to have fun.

Love it or hate it, proceeds from the single will support the Save The Music Foundation (formerly VH1 Save The Music), so at least the cringe is for a good cause.

And yes, the track is on Spotify, if curiosity gets the better of you. Would this make you laugh, cry, or question reality? Tune in and decide!
