Apple has unveiled its latest iMac, a sleek desktop powerhouse that’s set to captivate both casual users and creative professionals alike. The star of the show is the new M4 chip, promising a significant boost in performance and efficiency.
The 24-inch iMac is available in a vibrant palette of seven colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. This playful design aesthetic, reminiscent of the popular M1 iMac, adds a touch of personality to any workspace.

The M4 chip, which debuted in the iPad Pro earlier this year, is now powering the iMac. This powerful chip, built on Apple’s advanced 3nm process, offers a significant performance leap over its predecessor, the M3. With an 8-core CPU and up to a 10-core GPU, the M4 promises smooth multitasking, faster app launches, and stunning visuals.

The new iMac comes equipped with a 12MP camera, perfect for video calls and content creation. Apple’s latest AI-powered features, such as advanced writing and editing tools and an improved Siri, are also integrated into the device.
While the M4 iMac retains the sleek, minimalist design of its predecessors, Apple has introduced a new “nano-texture glass” option for the display (extra $200). This premium upgrade helps reduce reflections and glare, ensuring optimal viewing in various lighting conditions.
The base model of the M4 iMac, starting at $1,299, comes with two Thunderbolt USB-C ports. For those who need more connectivity, the higher-end models, starting at $1,499, offer four ports. The new iMac is available to preorder today and will start shipping on November 8th.
The M4 iMac arrives just a year after the launch of the M3-powered iMac. While the M3 model offered a significant performance boost over the M1, the M4 takes things to the next level.
