With promises of delivering an unparalleled gaming experience, fans are eagerly anticipating the moment they can immerse themselves in the vast universe of Starfield. While some might feel a pang of jealousy at the thought of others venturing into the cosmos before them, the anonymous gamer’s revelations only fuel our collective anticipation. According to Kinda Funny co-host, Parris Lilly, this fortunate player is particularly intrigued by how Starfield‘s immense scope and open-world design will be received by critics and the gaming community alike.

Starfield‘s development secrets have been closely guarded by Bethesda, but some tantalizing details have managed to surface. Bethesda proudly boasts of creating the largest city ever conceived in its gaming universe. But what truly sets Starfield apart is the staggering number of planets available for players to explore – over 1000 in total.

In an unprecedented move, Bethesda has revealed that while the game boasts an extensive galaxy of planets, a mere 10% of them will host signs of meaningful life, amounting to approximately 100 planets. The vastness of the unpopulated planets has led fans to speculate about the potential for vast post-launch downloadable content.

Starfield‘s release is slated for September 6, 2023, for PC and Xbox Series X and Series S. However, those who have secured pre-orders for the Premium or Constellation Editions will be rewarded with early access, unlocking the game on September 1. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be able to venture into the far reaches of Starfield‘s universe from day one.
