Samsung’s latest move in the interactive display market feels less like a hardware refresh and more like a statement about where classrooms and workplaces are headed. The newly launched WAFX-P premium Interactive Display is designed to be more than just a screen—it’s a hub for collaboration, powered by AI and built to adapt to both education and enterprise settings.

At its core, the WAFX-P is about participation. Samsung cites research showing that hands-on activities are one of the strongest indicators of student engagement, and the device is clearly built with that in mind. A built-in 4K camera, integrated microphones, and dual 20-watt speakers make it easy to connect classrooms across geographies or bring in guest speakers virtually. Accessibility gets a boost too, with live captioning that generates on-screen text for audio and video content—a thoughtful addition for inclusive learning.

Under the hood, the display runs on Android 15 with an octa-core CPU, which means educators can switch between apps and tools without disrupting the flow of a lesson. But the real differentiator is the AI layer. Features like Circle to Search, AI Summary, and Live Transcript allow teachers to guide exploration, capture insights in real time, and keep students engaged. It’s a nod to the growing belief among students and teachers alike that AI can accelerate learning and free up time for more personalized instruction.

  • Teacher using a digital smartboard to explain plant cell organelles, with labeled diagrams of a leaf, plant cell, and chloroplast displayed to attentive students.
  • Business meeting in a modern conference room where a presenter explains a marketing strategy on a large interactive screen, with remote participants joining via video call.
  • Modern digital display featuring vivid sand dune imagery, with close-up highlights of built-in camera, microphone, and speaker components.

Samsung has also leaned into flexibility. The WAFX-P comes in three sizes—65, 75, and 86 inches—making it adaptable to different classroom layouts. It integrates seamlessly with tools like Google Classroom and Google Drive, so educators don’t have to reinvent their workflows. Dual-pen functionality lets multiple students annotate or brainstorm simultaneously, while responsive multi-touch technology supports up to 50 users at once. The writing experience itself is designed to feel “paper-like,” capturing subtle pressure differences and quick strokes with accuracy.

Interestingly, Samsung isn’t limiting its vision to education. With more companies enforcing return-to-office mandates, the WAFX-P doubles as a workplace collaboration tool. Teams can share screens from up to nine devices simultaneously, making hybrid meetings more inclusive. A 3-in-1 USB-C port adds convenience by combining touch control, screen connection, and device charging in one. For IT managers, Samsung’s Device Management Solution (DMS) allows centralized control across campuses or offices, ensuring announcements or emergency alerts can be pushed instantly to every display.

The WAFX-P feels like Samsung’s attempt to redefine what an interactive display should be in 2026: not just a digital whiteboard, but a platform that blends AI, accessibility, and connectivity. It’s a product that acknowledges the blurred lines between classrooms and workplaces, where collaboration and engagement are equally critical.

What stands out is the balance between cutting-edge features and practical usability. Samsung isn’t just chasing specs—it’s building a tool that educators and professionals can actually fold into their daily routines. And in a world where attention is fragmented and hybrid work is the norm, that might be the smartest design choice of all.
