The chilling and captivating world of Resident Evil Village is making its way to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max on October 30th. Also, the owners of the M1 and M2 models of the iPad Pro and iPad Air can join in on the fear fest too, as the game drops simultaneously on those devices.

For a mere $40, you can delve into the heart-pounding main storyline. If you’re brave enough to dive deeper into the nightmare, the Winters’ Expansion DLC will set you back an additional $20.

Originally released in 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, Resident Evil Village became a cultural phenomenon with its spine-tingling narrative and gruesome adversaries. The game boasts a nightmarish cast, including werewolves, a grotesque fish-like creature, a diabolical cult leader, and a horde of rotting, zombie-like foes. But the star of the show is none other than Countess Alcina Dimitrescu, a towering undead figure with razor-sharp claws, who commands a trio of vampiric daughters. She’s the stuff of nightmares, and fans can’t get enough of her.

The game first landed on Mac computers in 2022, and the iPhone and iPad versions were revealed during Apple’s annual iPhone event on September 12, 2023. The release date remained a mystery until Capcom finally unveiled it on their website this week.

And if you think the scares end there, think again! Apple’s cutting-edge A17 Pro chipset is opening the door to more gaming thrills on the iPhone 15 Pro. Titles like Death Stranding, set to release later this year, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, scheduled for early 2024, are on the horizon.
