Apple will unveil the new iPhone 14 series at its autumn event on September 7, 2022, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Gurman‘s report states that the event will also feature a few Mac, iPad, and three Apple Watch models (Gurman also expects the Pro version of the Apple Watch at the event as he stated in his Power On newsletter).

The base model of the iPhone 14 will reportedly be similar to the iPhone 13, but the company will cancel the 5.4-inch mini model and introduce a model with a 6.7-inch screen. Additionally, a portion of the screen will be made available by an adjustment to the front camera.

The normal iPhone 14 models (non-Pro models) will keep the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13, but the iPhone 14 Pro models will include a more powerful chip (of course A16 chip). The Pro models will have a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera.

According to the report, new product sales will start in the middle of September. A September 16 sales start date was set for some retail stores. Apple’s press office declined to reveal the event’s date.
