The age-old problem of a missing wallet has met its match. Or at least, a slimmer, more stylish one. ESR, a name familiar to tech accessory enthusiasts, has unveiled its Geo Wallet, a bifold that packs a surprising punch.
Gone are the days of bulging wallets stuffed with AirTags or other bulky trackers. The Geo Wallet boasts its own integrated tracking module, a mere 1.6 millimeters thick. This tiny powerhouse is compatible with Apple‘s Find My network, meaning your iPhone can pinpoint your wallet’s location with uncanny accuracy. It’s like having a personal detective in your pocket.
Despite its sleek profile, the Geo Wallet is surprisingly capacious. It can comfortably hold up to nine cards, including those with ID windows, a stash of banknotes, and even some loose change. Crafted from vegan leather and shielded with RFID-blocking material, it’s as practical as it is protective. And with a color palette ranging from classic black to vibrant tangerine, there’s a Geo Wallet to suit every taste.

Powering the tracking module is a rechargeable battery, a departure from the disposable coin cells typically found in similar devices. ESR claims an impressive five months of battery life on a single two-hour charge. While this is shorter than the year-long promise from Apple’s AirTags, it’s still a respectable duration that should minimize charging hassles.
To keep the wallet slim, ESR has opted for a proprietary magnetic charging cable. While this ensures a snug fit, it also means yet another cable to keep track of. A minor inconvenience, perhaps, but one that might be overlooked given the wallet’s overall appeal.
The Geo Wallet is currently making waves on Kickstarter, where it has already surpassed its funding goal. Early bird backers can snag one at a discounted price, but it’s expected to retail for around $55 once the campaign concludes.
While crowdfunding projects carry inherent risks, ESR is a seasoned player in the tech accessory market, making it a relatively safe bet. The Geo Wallet doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does refine it, offering a sleek, functional, and technologically advanced solution to a common problem.
