Apple and reality TV star/entrepreneur Kim Kardashian have collaborated on a special Beats Fit Pro model. Moon, Dune, and Earth are the three skin tones that make up the new Beats x Kim collaboration, which is designed to either “blend in or stand out,” in the words of Kardashian. In other words, they reflect cosmetics more so than electronics.

The buds exactly the same as the standard Beats Fit Pro, which is not a bad thing. The regular ones, which have strong bass (feel the Beats) and robust active noise cancellation, are comfier than AirPods. Although the earbuds will still run properly with Android, you’ll also get the typical close integration with Apple’s other devices.

The Fit Pro will still cost $200 in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, and Japan whenever the Beats x Kim models go on sale through Apple’s online store at apple.com/kim on August 16 at 10 AM Eastern. When they go on sale on August 17th, don’t count on seeing them at all the normal spots.

Only 10 Apple locations, including those on 5th Avenue, Regent Street, and Champs-Élysées, as well as department stores and fashion chains like Selfridges in the UK and SSENSE, offer in-person sales (in Canada). Additionally, you can purchase through WeChat in China or Amazon in North America.

This is the wearable tech you’ve been missing. Introducing Beats Fit Pro neutrals, designed by @KimKardashian.

Reimagined in Kim’s signature palette, Beats Fit Pro will soon be available in 3 versatile colors: Moon, Dune and Earth.

However, the Beats Fit Pro has the best sound, and Kim Kardashian’s fame will undoubtedly offer Apple a powerful advertising boost.
