With this new feature, Apple’s News app will find itself in direct competition with The New York Times, known for its popular crossword puzzles. However, it remains unclear whether Apple will develop the crosswords in-house or collaborate with external crossword makers. While Apple’s preview website for iOS 17 does not provide visuals of the puzzles, this development is sure to intrigue crossword enthusiasts.
