Amazon is currently offering a great deal on the base model of the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air, which has 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The price has been discounted by $149, and it is available for $1,150. To take advantage of this offer, shoppers need to clip the on-page coupon that unlocks the discount.

For those seeking more storage capacity, the 512GB SSD variant can be yours for just $1,350, a cool $149 off its regular price, thanks to the on-page coupon. And if you crave even more memory and storage, the 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD configuration can be snagged for a mere $1,550, again benefiting from the $149 discount via the on-page coupon.

Regardless of the configuration, all models of the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air boast an impressive array of specifications, including an 8-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and a compact 35W dual USB-C port power adapter, ensuring a seamless and efficient computing experience.

This larger 15-inch display truly made a significant difference when compared to the standard 13-inch MacBook Air, allowing for extended periods of use without the fatigue often associated with smaller screens. The impressive battery life, with Apple suggesting up to 18 hours of usage on a single charge, further contributed to our enjoyment of this portable powerhouse.

One of the few criticisms we had with the previous M2 MacBook Air centered around the chip’s performance limitations when tackling intensive tasks. With the inclusion of the M3 chip, that concern has been effectively addressed. While not as potent as the M3 Pro, the M3 chip in the 15-inch MacBook Air undoubtedly gets the job done, and then some, delivering a smooth and responsive computing experience.

Weighing in at 3.3 pounds (1.51 kg), the 15-inch MacBook Air strikes a remarkable balance between portability and screen real estate. It can effortlessly slip into a tote bag or backpack, making it an ideal companion for those constantly on the move. However, it’s worth noting that the increased size does make it slightly more cumbersome to carry than its 13-inch counterpart, a trade-off inherent to any 15-inch laptop.

The only significant downside we encountered with this model relates to the port placement. With the charging and USB-C ports located on only one side, juggling multiple accessories on a crowded desk can become a bit of a hassle.

The 15-inch M3 MacBook Air presents an alluring proposition, combining power, portability, and an expansive display, all at a compelling price point thanks to the current discount. For those seeking a versatile and capable laptop that can effortlessly transition from work to play, this latest offering from Apple is undoubtedly worthy of consideration.
