Apple kicked off the WWDC week a little early this year by announcing the winners of its prestigious Apple Design Awards. Fourteen exceptional apps and games have been recognized for their stellar design, technical achievements, and innovative spirit.

These awards, presented annually, showcase the best that the Apple ecosystem has to offer. This year’s selection promises a diverse range of experiences, catering to a variety of user preferences and needs.

Seamless interaction: making technology intuitive

A new frontier: the rise of spatial computing

The “Spatial Computing” category recognizes apps that push the boundaries of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences. “djay – DJ App & AI Mixer” takes music mixing to a whole new level with its immersive spatial interface, while “Blackbox for Vision” harnesses the power of Apple Vision Pro to create a unique and innovative game experience.

This year’s pre-announcement of the Apple Design Awards marks a slight shift from tradition. In previous years, the winners were revealed during a presentation at WWDC. Regardless of the format, there’s no denying the caliber of this year’s Apple Design Award winners.
