LG Electronics is expanding its premium laundry appliance lineup with a new 25-inch LG WashTower, bringing large-capacity washing and drying, AI-powered laundry features, and a space-efficient design to homes where room is limited. Announced on October 15, 2026, the new model sits between the company’s existing 24-inch and 27-inch WashTower models as part of its broader range of vertical laundry solutions.
The new WashTower combines a washer and dryer in a single vertical appliance, with independently operated drums that allow users to wash and dry separate loads simultaneously. LG says each drum can handle loads of up to 20 kilograms, offering substantial capacity while keeping the appliance’s footprint compact.
A compact design with a centralized control panel
The 25-inch WashTower features LG’s Flat design, Hidden Hinge Door, and Push Detergent Box for a streamlined appearance intended to blend into modern home interiors. Its integrated design brings the washer and dryer together without requiring two separate side-by-side appliances.
At the center is a 6.8-inch touch LCD display that serves as the WashTower’s Center Control panel. Users can adjust settings and monitor washing and drying status from this centrally positioned interface, making it easier to manage both appliances in one place.

AI-powered washing and drying features
LG is equipping the new WashTower with several of its existing laundry technologies, including TurboWash, DUAL Inverter HeatPump, and Turbo Dry. TurboWash uses water jets and rapid drum movements to help reduce washing time, while the heat pump technology is designed to support drying performance and energy efficiency. Turbo Dry is intended to shorten drying time.
One of the notable features is Prepare to Dry, which LG says can complete washing and drying a 3-kilogram laundry load within 120 minutes under its specified test conditions. Actual cycle times may vary depending on the load, fabric type, and selected settings.
The appliance also incorporates AI-based features designed to adjust laundry cycles according to the load.
- AI Wash 2.0: Uses LG’s Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive technology to analyze load weight, fabric characteristics, and soil levels to adjust washing and rinsing.
- AI Dry: Assesses fabric type, load size, and humidity changes to determine an appropriate drying time. For loads under 5 kilograms containing similar fabric types, it can also help improve drying consistency.
- AI Time Sensing: Learns from usage data and evaluates load characteristics to provide more precise estimates of cycle duration.
- AI Laundry Report: Displays information such as estimated load size, detergent usage, and energy consumption after a cycle.
The WashTower also supports LG ThinQ, allowing users with compatible mobile devices to check laundry status and receive notifications when the appliance is connected to the app.
LG WashTower 25-inch: Availability
LG says the global rollout of the new 25-inch WashTower will begin in Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America later in 2026, with additional markets scheduled to follow from 2027. The company has not specified individual country launch dates, US availability, or pricing in its announcement.
With the new model, LG is giving consumers another size option in its premium WashTower family. The 25-inch version aims to combine substantial washing and drying capacity with a more compact installation footprint, while its AI features and centralized controls are designed to simplify everyday laundry.
