Google‘s own platform YouTube announced on Tuesday a new partnership with Shopify to allow eligible content creators to feature their products across their YouTube channels and content by linking their Shopify store to their YouTube channel.

Creators who connect their shops can use Shopify’s real-time inventory syncing to display their products across all of their channels and avoid disappointing consumers by having an item go out of stock. Meanwhile, US creators can enable onsite checkout so that buyers can make their transactions without leaving YouTube. Creators can get started by going to the “Shopping” tab in the YouTube Studio.

Shopify is the commerce infrastructure of the internet, powering millions of independent businesses all over the world. We believe creators are the next generation of merchants, and YouTube has been a long-time leader in powering this new cohort of entrepreneurs. We’re excited to partner with YouTube, and help scale the creator economy into its next phase of growth.
