Amazon has announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on a wider range of Fire TV devices. In addition to the previously supported Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen), gamers can now enjoy Xbox titles on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st Gen) and the Fire TV Cube (3rd Gen).

To access Xbox Cloud Gaming on these devices, users simply need to download the Xbox app from the Amazon Appstore, sign in with their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and connect a compatible Bluetooth controller. The Fire TV Cube, in particular, offers a superior gaming experience due to its Ethernet port, which provides a more stable internet connection.

While Amazon currently offers a bundled deal for the Fire TV Stick 4K/4K Max and an Xbox controller, a similar package for the Fire TV Cube is not yet available. However, the Fire TV Cube (3rd Gen) is currently being sold at a discounted price, making it a more affordable option for gamers looking to upgrade their home entertainment setup.

Although the expansion of Xbox Cloud Gaming to more Fire TV devices is a positive development, it’s worth noting that Amazon’s Fire TV smart TVs, such as the Omni Series, are still not supported. Hopefully, this limitation will be addressed in future updates.
