WhatsApp beta testing “Create Poll” feature, a new tab for communities, animations when reacting to messages

WhatsApp beta is working on some interesting improvements, according to WABetaInfo (WBI), including minor animations when reacting to messages that may be coming on Android and iOS devices. They’re also working on an alternative way to respond to messages, which could be available in the WhatsApp Desktop beta.

Also on the way is a cool feature called “Create Poll” that will be available from within your WhatsApp groups in future WhatApp app updates.

WABetaInfo also discovered that WhatsApp is working on a new “community tab” that could eventually replace the camera tab.

In addition, on the next WhatsApp beta for Android updates, WhatsApp plans to release additional settings for managing reaction notifications, as well as the ability to pause and resume voice recordings.
