WhatsApp Beta is pushing out new settings for web/desktop to manage ‘reaction notifications’ to a select group of beta testers. If you’re lucky then you can get these features in your WhatsApp beta for web/desktop, you can now go to WhatsApp Settings > Notifications then configure reaction notifications with a new setting named “Turn off all reactions notifications.”

However, this option is disabled by default, but you can enable it at any time to disable all reaction alerts if you don’t want to be notified when someone responds to your messages in the future. Because the company has enabled reaction notifications for the web/desktop client, it’s possible that WhatsApp is going to release the ability to respond to messages later.
