Wendi Sturgis, a veteran of the IT sector, was named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of cleverbridge. Craig Vodnik, the co-founder of cleverbridge, has stepped down as CEO and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as a senior advisor.

“Wendi is an accomplished and talented industry leader with significant experience scaling businesses, leading global teams, and delivering value to customers,” said Vodnik. “She leads with integrity and sincerity – and understands our culture and growth ambitions. She is what cleverbridge needs right now.”

Sturgis has over 25 years of technology, marketing, and business experience. She is a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate who has worked for some of the world’s most prestigious tech giants. She was the CEO of Yext Europe, the vice president of account management for Yahoo! in North America, and a top executive at Yext, Oracle, Gartner, and Right Media. She is a member of a number of public and private boards, including The Container Store, Sabre, the Steps Up Women’s Network, the Georgia Tech Advisory Board, and the Georgia Tech Foundation.

Sturgis was also recognized to Forbes’ list of “40 Women to Watch Over 40” in 2013. Salesloft, Lyte, Comparably, Violet Grey, and Quantum Metric are just a few of the world-class start-ups she advises.
