In the newest Telegram updated version highlights some best features including animated backgrounds, group video calls, screen sharing during voice chats in groups supported on all devices, message sending animations, and a new menu button for bots.

Voice chats in any group now turn into group video calls, just hit the camera icon to switch your video on, users also have an option to view the fullscreen video by taping on any video. Also, if you pin a video it will stay focused as new users join the call and turn on their cameras.

To enable voice chat, for Android, tap the three-dot icon menu in the profile of any group where you are an admin, iOS users can find the video chat button right in the group profile. Telegram says, “While audio-only participants are unlimited, video is currently available for the first 30 people who join the voice chat. This limit will increase soon as voice chats take on streaming games, live events, and more.”

Users can now share their screen to the camera feed, users can enable screen sharing by tapping on the three-dot menu in any app and selecting “Share screen” from the menu.

Telegram improved noise suppression in voice chats to keep everyone’s audio clear and crisp, even when you’re eating something crispy. Additionally, Telegram also added a toggle to turn noise suppression off in settings – for those times when munching has meaning.

The latest Telegram version also supports split-screen view on tablet and desktop, to enable this, tap the side panel and there’s an option “split-screen view” of the grid and list of participants, and both are optimized for portrait and landscape view.

Voice chats on desktops now open in a separate window, so users can type and talk without minimizing anything. Desktop apps also have selective screen sharing so you can broadcast an individual program instead of your whole screen.

Telegram also introduces animated backgrounds for chats, this will automatically change in multi-color gradient wallpapers when users every time sending a message, and these new animations are available to all default themes. To access animated backgrounds, go to “Chat Settings > Change Chat Background” on Android, on iOS, go to “Appearance > Chat Background.”

The new animated background allows users to create and share with others, choose three or four colors to unlock the animation, optional patterns available for extra style. When you’re done, you can share animated wallpapers with friends, family.

Telegram update also brings message sending animations without affecting phone battery, this also applies to media, text, or messages you sent from the attachment panel on iOS device.

Telegram added a “Telegram Features” button at the bottom of the Settings menu on iOS, which opens the Telegram Tips channel, and this feature is already available on Android and it can access it from the side menu. There’s also a new gradient Telegram app icons available in this update along with classic blue and black icons, and it will access from “Settings > Appearance.”
