The iPad Air (4th Generation) is equipped with an Apple 5nm A14 Bionic Chip, which improves performance. The A14 Bionic’s 6-core design boosts CPU speed by up to 40%, while the 4-core graphics architecture improves graphical performance by up to 30%. The 16-Core Neural Engine is twice as fast and can perform up to 11 trillion operations per second. A14 Bionic enables you to edit 4K videos, create one-of-a-kind artworks, play immersive games, and much more.

The Apple iPad Air sports a 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display with a resolution of 2360 x 1640 at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The Liquid Retina Display retains all of the features you’d expect, such as P3 broad color gamut coverage, True Tone, anti-reflective and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coatings, 500 nits of brightness, and support for the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen.

The screen isn’t the only item that’s been upgraded. The iPad Air now features the A14 Bionic chip, which provides the performance boost required to handle 4K video editing, immersive games, and other tasks. There is also 64GB of storage space available.

The iPad Air now has a 12MP back camera, the same as the iPad Pro. The back camera can take high-resolution photographs and 4K videos. When in landscape position, the iPad Air also boasts a 7MP FaceTime HD camera and dual speakers. The iPad Air has dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 connection.

The Touch ID is still available on the iPad Air. It is now part of the top button. Touch ID uses your fingerprint to unlock your iPad Air, log in to apps, and use Apple Pay in a safe and secure manner. On the iPad Air, Apple has replaced the Lightning connector with a USB Type-C port, allowing for more functionality and greater connectivity with other devices.
