The highly anticipated, star-studded film “Swan Song” will premiere in cinemas and globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, December 17th, according to Apple Original Films.

“Swan Song” stars Mahershala Ali, a two-time Academy Award winner who also acts as producer, Glenn Close, an eight-time Academy Award nominee, and Naomie Harris, an Academy Award nominee. The ensemble cast also includes Golden Globe winner Awkwafina and Golden Globe nominee Adam Beach.

“Swan Song,” set in the near future, is a powerful, emotional journey seen through the perspective of Cameron (Mahershala Ali), a loving husband and father diagnosed with a fatal disease who is offered an alternative solution by his doctor (Glenn Close) to protect his family from pain.

Cam learns more about life and love than he ever anticipated as he debates whether or not to change his family’s fate. “Swan Song” examines how far we’ll go and how much we’ll give up to achieve a better life for the ones we care about.

The Academy Award-winning filmmaker Benjamin Cleary (“Stutterer”) directs the film, which is based on an original script written by Cleary and produced by Anonymous Content and Concordia Studio. Anonymous Content’s Adam Shulman and Jacob Perlin (“The Amazing Johnathan Documentary”); Concordia Studio’s Jonathan King (“Stillwater,” “Dark Waters”); Rebecca Bourke (“Wave”); Mahershala Ali and Mimi Valdés (“Hidden Figures”) through Know Wonder’s Mahershala Ali and Mimi Valdés (“Hidden Figures”).
