Yesterday, Star Wars posted a photo to mark the start of production on the new Disney+ Original series “Ahsoka.”

This new series will be led by “Star Wars” fan, historian, and Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni, and will star Rosario Dawson as the fan-favorite character from the animated series.

Ahsoka Tano made her screen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars then went on to star in the animated series of the same name, as well as featuring in Star Wars Rebels and other shows. The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett would be the first live-action portrayals of the beloved character.
