Samsung took center stage at the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event held in Seoul on Wednesday. Amid much excitement, the company revealed its latest offerings: the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic. With enhanced features, refined design, and improved performance, Samsung aims to further solidify its position in the wearables market.

The Galaxy Watch6 showcases a sleeker and more modern design compared to its predecessors. The bezel has been subtly refined to provide a seamless visual experience, drawing attention to the brilliant display.

Galaxy Watch6/Galaxy Watch6 Classic price and availability

The standard Galaxy Watch6 comes in two size options, 40mm and 44mm, priced at $299.99 and $329.99, respectively. The smaller variant boasts elegant Graphite and Gold colors, while the larger one offers Graphite and Silver options. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic is available in 44mm and 47mm configurations, retailing at $399.99 and $429.99, respectively, and comes in sophisticated Black and Silver hues. Pre-orders have already begun, and both models are scheduled to hit the shelves on August 11.

Samsung’s commitment to promoting health and well-being remains evident in the Galaxy Watch6 series. These smartwatches are equipped with an array of new sleep and fitness features to cater to users’ evolving needs. Notable among these is the comprehensive sleep analysis, providing users with detailed insights into their sleep patterns and consistency. Additionally, the watch offers personalized sleep coaching, aiding individuals in improving their sleep quality.

The “personalized heart rate zone” feature is another significant addition, enabling users to understand their unique physical capabilities and optimize their workout routines accordingly. By leveraging this functionality, individuals can ensure that their fitness activities align with their specific goals and capacities.

Under the hood, both the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic pack a powerful punch. With 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, users can comfortably store their favorite apps, music, and data on these devices. The watches boast impressive battery life, with up to 40 hours on a single charge with the Always On display turned off, and approximately 30 hours with it activated.
