Samsung introduces the latest Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic during Galaxy Unpacked event. Both smartwatches feature a new Wear OS powered by Samsung in a partnership with Google and packed with One UI Watch.

With enhanced hardware performance, the Galaxy Watch4 series provides a more fluid and connected user experience. These new devices have been fully revamped to give customers the most effective tools for managing their health.

Samsung’s revolutionary BioActive Sensor is included in the Galaxy Watch4, which has a smaller and more compact design without sacrificing measurement accuracy.

Users can monitor their blood pressure, detect an AFib irregular heartbeat, measure their blood oxygen level, and, for the first time, calculate their body composition with this new 3-in-1 sensor, which uses a single chip to precisely run three powerful health sensors — Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis.

With essential parameters including skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water, and body fat %, the all-new Body Composition measurement tool gives consumers a better picture of their overall health and fitness.

With just two fingers on your wrist, you can now simply check your body composition. The sensor on your wrist will collect 2,400 data points in roughly 15 seconds.

Both smartwatches have a variety of wellness features that may track your daily activity and keep you motivated to achieve your goals.

Choose from a variety of guided workouts, participate in Group Challenges with your friends and family, or create a home gym by connecting your Galaxy Watch4 to a compatible Samsung Smart TV, which displays calorie counts and heart rate measurements for better tracking.

When it’s time to sleep, the Galaxy Watch4 series provides the most comprehensive picture of your sleep habits yet, with more detail than ever before. When you sleep, your paired device detects the sounds of your snoring, and your smartwatch checks your blood oxygen level4. You can learn more about your sleep patterns and get greater rest by combining enhanced Sleep Scores with them.

Samsung also unveiled its new One UI Watch and Wear OS platforms. Now compatible apps will be automatically installed on your watch when downloaded on your phone, and your relevant settings – such as do not disturb hours and blocked callers – are synced instantaneously with One UI Watch, which is powered by Samsung. Depending on your usage, the Auto Switch guarantees that your earbuds can switch audio between your phone and your watch.

With Bixby’s voice, bezel, and gesture controls, you can easily control your mobile experience. Receive calls by moving your forearm up and down twice, and rejecting them by rotating your wrist twice — or dismissing notifications and alarms.

The new platform now supports popular third-party apps from Google Play, such as Adidas Running, Calm, Strava, and Spotify. You can enjoy smooth and convenient integrated experiences with your Galaxy Watch4 because of its upgraded hardware and even more intuitive user interface.

Samsung also improved the hardware by increasing memory and improving the processor. The Galaxy Watch4 lineup features the first 5nm processor in a Galaxy Watch, with a 20% increase in CPU, 50% more RAM, and a 10x faster GPU than the previous generation.

Samsung also ups the ante with a display resolution of 450×450 pixels and 16GB of memory storage for your apps, music, and photos, all of which are protected by Samsung’s Knox security technology. The battery life can be long lasting up to 40 hours, a 30 minutes of charge gives 10 hours of battery life.

Galaxy Watch4 comes in 40mm and 44mm, and the price will be starting at $249.99 for the Bluetooth version while the LTE version starting at $299.99. The 40mm version is available in Black, Silver, and Pink Gold color, and the 44mm version is available in Black, Silver, and sophisticated Green color.

Galaxy Watch4 Classic is available in 42mm and 46mm, and the price will be starting at $349.99 for Bluetooth version and LTE version starting at $399.99, and available in Black and Silver color only. Customers can pre0-order both Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic on the Best Buy website.
