If you’ve been keeping an eye on Samsung’s mid-range offerings, you’re in for a treat—or maybe a bit of a wallet shock. The latest leaks about the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus have hit the web, and they’re spilling all the beans on what’s coming next in Samsung’s “Fan Edition” lineup. Thanks to the folks at WinFuture.de, we’ve got a juicy scoop on specs, design, and—yep—prices that might make you raise an eyebrow.

First things first: size matters, and Samsung’s leaning into that with the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus. This bad boy is jumping up to a 13.1-inch display, a noticeable bump from the 12.4-inch screen on its predecessor, the Tab S9 FE Plus. That’s edging into serious big-screen territory—think iPad Air or even iPad Pro vibes, but at a (hopefully) more wallet-friendly price. Meanwhile, the regular Galaxy Tab S10 FE is sticking to its roots with a 10.9-inch display, the same as last year’s model. No growth spurt there, but it’s still a solid size for portability.

Now, here’s the catch: the leaks don’t spill whether these screens are getting the OLED treatment or sticking with LCD. The Tab S9 FE series rocked LCD panels with a 90Hz refresh rate, so don’t get your hopes up for buttery-smooth AMOLED goodness unless Samsung surprises us. That said, a 13.1-inch canvas could be a game-changer for binge-watching, sketching, or multitasking—especially if you’re the type who loves a little extra real estate.

Samsung’s shaking things up on the camera front, too, but not in the way you might expect. The Tab S9 FE Plus had a dual-camera setup on the back—8MP main and 8MP ultrawide. The S10 FE Plus? It’s dropping down to just one 13MP rear camera, ditching the ultrawide lens entirely. The regular S10 FE is following suit with a single 13MP shooter, up from its predecessor’s 8MP. Selfie fans, you’re still covered with a 12MP front camera on both models—perfect for those Zoom calls or TikTok close-ups.

Under the hood, things are getting a boost. While Samsung’s flagship Tab S10 Plus and Ultra models flaunt high-end MediaTek chips, the FE crew is sticking with Samsung’s homegrown Exynos silicon. Say hello to the Exynos 1580, the same chip powering the newly announced Galaxy A56 phone. It’s a step up from the Exynos 1380 in the Tab S9 FE series, promising around 45% faster performance and up to 80% better graphics power, according to SamMobile. That’s a solid upgrade for gaming, streaming, or juggling a dozen apps at once—pretty sweet for a mid-ranger.

Okay, let’s talk money—because this is where the “Fan Edition” vibe takes a hit. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is reportedly kicking off at €579 (about $630 USD at current rates) for the base Wi-Fi model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Want 5G or the beefier 12GB RAM/256GB storage combo? Add €100 each time, topping out at €779 (roughly $850 USD). The Tab S10 FE Plus starts higher at €749 (around $815 USD) for the same base config, climbing to €949 ($1,035 USD) for the maxed-out 5G version.

Here’s the kicker: that’s a €50 jump over the Tab S9 FE and S9 FE Plus starting prices (€529 and €699, respectively). In the US, where the S9 FE launched at $450 and the S9 FE Plus at $600, we’re likely looking at $500 and $650 starting points this time around.

From the leaked images, these tablets look like classic Samsung—sleek, metallic shells with flat edges, available in silver, blue, and dark gray. They’re keeping the IP68 dust and water resistance, which is awesome for clumsy coffee spillers like me. S Pen support is also back, and both tablets come with the stylus in the box—score! Battery-wise, the S10 FE packs an 8,000mAh cell, while the FE Plus steps up to 10,090mAh, both with 45W fast charging. That’s enough juice to keep you going all day, whether you’re sketching, streaming, or doomscrolling.

Connectivity’s solid, too: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and optional 5G for those on-the-go vibes. They’re expected to ship with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box, and if Samsung sticks to its FE promises, you might get six years of OS updates and security patches. That’s a longevity win, especially at this price tier.

So, what’s the deal? The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE Plus are shaping up as solid mid-range contenders with some welcome upgrades—bigger screens (well, for the Plus), a peppier chip, and that sweet S Pen action. But the price bump and camera downgrade on the Plus have folks scratching their heads. Is a faster processor and a slightly larger display worth $50 more when you’re losing an ultrawide lens? For some, maybe—especially if you’re all about performance over photography. For others, it might feel like Samsung’s stretching the “Fan Edition” label a bit thin.

No official launch date yet, but leaks hint at a mid-2025 drop, possibly around July, based on Samsung’s tablet rhythm and a note on their site spotted last year. Until then, we’re left speculating—and saving up.
