Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition phone—the Galaxy S25 FE—is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly anticipated midrange handsets of the year. Although Samsung has only said the device will arrive “earlier than usual,” recent leaks have given us a crystal-clear preview of what to expect, starting with its paint jobs.

The Galaxy S25 FE will ship in four distinct shades: Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black, and White.

These options mark a departure from last year’s S24 FE lineup, which offered five colors, and represent a more streamlined, sophisticated aesthetic.

Beyond the color swatches, spec leaks paint a compelling picture of the S25 FE’s hardware:

  • Display: 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED (1080p+, 120Hz), protected by Gorilla Glass Victus
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 2400 (up from the 2400e in the S24 FE)
  • Battery & charging: 4,500mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging
  • Cameras: Triple rear setup—50MP main (f/1.8, OIS), 8MP telephoto (3× zoom), 12MP ultra-wide—and a 12MP selfie shooter
  • Build & durability: IP68 water/dust resistance; measures 161.3 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm, weighs 190 g—both slimmer and lighter than its predecessor
  • Software: One UI 8 based on Android 16, plus seven years of OS and security updates

History suggests Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 FE alongside its Tab S10 Lite, likely in early September—well ahead of last year’s late-September S24 FE launch. Reports point to a potential announcement around IFA Berlin (September 4–8), with retail availability soon after.

The Fan Edition series sits at a sweet spot: premium-grade features at a more accessible price. By upgrading the chipset, boosting charging speeds, and refining the design—while paring down the color palette to four thoughtfully chosen finishes—Samsung aims to deliver maximum value without confusing consumers with too many choices.
