Samsung‘s upcoming Unpacked event, scheduled for July 10th, has been the target of numerous leaks from retailers. But what’s even more surprising than an early glimpse courtesy of a retailer? How about someone actually managing to buy the unreleased Galaxy Buds3 Pro?

That’s exactly what happened according to a Reddit user named Plastic_Development1 (thanks to AlexPaulBennett on X/Twitter for the heads-up). This eagle-eyed individual managed to snag a pair of the Buds3 Pro in the US, and even went ahead to share images of the earbuds online.

As anticipated from previous leaks, the images confirm a significant design shift for Samsung’s earbuds. Gone are the bean-shaped, stemless designs of the past. The Buds3 Pro now sport a stemmed design, similar to Apple‘s AirPods. The leak also gives us a closer look at the rumored “blade lights” on the earbuds, although they’re not particularly prominent in the first image. The charging case has also been redesigned, featuring a transparent lid for a more modern aesthetic.

The lucky Redditor also shed some light on the pricing. They claimed to have purchased the Buds3 Pro for $250, which is $20 more than the price tag of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. In terms of functionality, the user mentioned that multi-point connection, a feature that allows the earbuds to be paired with two devices simultaneously, wasn’t supported when using the Buds3 Pro with non-Samsung phones. However, they were particularly impressed with the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, claiming it surpassed the performance of their first-generation AirPods Pro.

While details on battery life remain under wraps for now, a prior leak suggested the Buds3 Pro might offer up to six hours of playtime with ANC enabled, with an additional hour available when ANC is turned off.

With the official launch event just around the corner, we can certainly expect more leaks about the Galaxy Buds3 Pro and other Samsung devices to surface in the coming days. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
