Samsung announced the industry’s first Odyssey Neo G9 curved gaming monitor

The consumer electronics company Samsung has announced its next-generation curved gaming monitor, the Odyssey Neo G9 (Model: G95NA) powered by the industry’s first Quantum Mini LED curved display technology and support for Quantum HDR 2000 for the immersive gaming experience and Quantum Matrix Technology combined with the super-fast response and refresh rates, Odyssey Neo G9 delivers an unrivaled dynamic picture and premium performance for all gamers.

The Quantum Mini LED is 1/40 the height of a traditional LED, but it features very thin microlayers loaded with many more LEDs. With 2,048 dimming zones, Quantum Matrix Technology, which uses increased 12-bit gradation for better control of the light source – the Quantum Mini LEDs, ensures viewers enjoy the material as it was designed to be seen.

Quantum HDR 2000 has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, according to the VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker). Furthermore, Samsung’s cutting-edge picture quality technology ensures ideal black and white levels, resulting in unrivaled contrast and fine detail.

The Odyssey Neo G9 has a 49-inch display with a 32:9 aspect ratio and Dual Quad High-Definition (DQHD; 5,1201,440 resolution), as well as a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. Adaptive Sync on DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) through HDMI 2.1 with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro deliver dynamic and smooth action scene-by-scene for a breakthrough gaming experience.

The Odyssey Neo G9 (Model: G95NA) will be available for Preorder from 29th July 2021 and will be available globally by 9 August 2021.
